Rapid Site Assessment
IST personnel pioneered the technique of vertical soil gas profiling. Similar to the Geoprobe® technology, only a small hole is required in surface coverings, the technique produces no soil cuttings, and it is not operationally or aesthetically intrusive. Initially developed as a way to assess the locations of hydrocarbon plumes without the use of monitoring wells, the technique is now used for:
